Start Your Franchise: Available Territories

Kitchen Guard makes it easy to evaluate and select the ideal franchise available near you.

Learn about our thorough processes for determining and protecting new territories, as well as supporting new franchise owners as they find suitable real estate.

Who Determines Franchise Territory?

Kitchen Guard’s experienced home office team determines franchise territory based on the number of commercial kitchens in the market and other factors. Our research process is highly selective and based on real-world variables and data generated by Kitchen Guard owners nationwide. This allows new owners to launch with confidence.

The most significant factor we use to determine territories is the “retail food service customer” (RFSC) count in zip codes. Our regulation-driven B2B services – including hood cleaning, filter exchanges, maintenance, and Green Steam – cater to the diverse needs of various food service establishments like restaurants, hotels, sports venues, hospitals, event venues, casinos, and schools. Each territory must have an RFSC count between 1500 and 2500 to meet our market demand threshold and be established as an available franchise territory.

Other important factors in territory selection include population density, community demographics, and local competition. We also review areas with chains, franchises, and restaurant groups with whom we can generate a partnership. This research ensures we only present the best territory options to prospective franchisees.

Territory Size and Exclusivity

Territory size varies. If several adjacent zip codes meet requirements, we may organize these zip codes into a single franchise location’s service area. The Franchise Disclosure Document provides more detailed information.

Kitchen Guard territories don’t overlap with other locations in our system. Not only does this support each franchise owner’s local success, but it empowers referral relationships between neighboring Kitchen Guard franchise owners!

Kitchen Guard is proud to be a part of EverSmith Brands, and our sister brands provide referrals in some areas.
